DEFINING SPACE
Rebecca is a mover. A dancer. A lover of textures and curious about the way her body relates to space. She experiences the world somatically: feeling its temperatures through materials, air, and light / Rachel is an observer. A photographer. A lover of gestures and curious about the way people interact with each other in space. She experiences the world visually: noticing its colors, shapes, and shifts in light. Rachel stands behind the camera, Rebecca stands in front of it. Together, they developed a practice of bringing attention to the ways the natural world and our built environment influence how people negotiate space, while sharing it with others.
